Bullock Fine Arts is a husband/wife artist team, John and Hortense Bullock, who have been painting together for more than 25 years. Their studio is located at 6000 feet elevation in Marysvale, UT, at the entrance to Bullion Canyon which is an old gold mining area. Just a few miles up the canyon the Tushar mountains rise to a majestic 12000 feet and are often covered with snow. Interestingly, Tushar is the Bengali name for snow. This is very appropriate because the Bullocks lived and worked for many years in Bangladesh, where Bengali is the national language. This spectacular scenery with incredibly clear air provides a never-ending source of inspiration for the Bullocks' paintings. They have lived and traveled in many other areas of the world as well, so their work is truly eclectic.
The Bullocks feel strongly that fine art should be available to everyone for their enjoyment--not just for the very affluent people. It should be priced to make it affordable to almost everyone. They paint in multiple media, styles and sizes and also make their works available in economical reproductions and cards.
Now is a great time to start your collection. We may get famous or die (we will never see 80 again) -- in either case our paintings will cost more then than now.
